Have an Allison 1710, basically an American rival to the RR Merlin of WW2 fame.

Ironically the Allison Engine Co. were bought by Rolls Royce in 1995 as a way into the US defence market and are now the Rolls Royce Corporation.

These are used pretty frequently in tractor pulls nowadays.

Merlins were, but nowadays owners are reluctant to sell to anyone who will subject them to this.
